第二届国际深水油气工程前沿技术研讨会暨国际水合物青年论坛

As a clean energy with huge reserves in nature, gas hydrate could be a potential future energy. Worldwide pilot production of offshore gas hydrate has been conducted in few countries, including Canada, Japan and China. The offshore hydrate drilling and production are attracting more and more attentions both in academia and industry.

In order to promote academic exchange between young scholars, stimulate great ideas for hydrate research, The Joint Laboratory on Petroleum Energy (UPC—UT Austin) plan to organize the Second International Technical Symposium on Deepwater Oil and Gas Engineering and the First International Youth Forum on Gas Hydrate between July 26-28th, 2018 in the beautiful city of Qingdao.

5. Advances in deepwater oil and gas production and equipments

8. Economic and safe development of natural gas hydrate

9. Fundamental and new technologies of gas hydrate
